LeadPOS (“LeadPOS”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides point-of-sale software for retail shops and restaurants in the Maldives. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, our applications and the services we provide (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account & business details — your name, business name, email address, phone number and outlet information when you sign up or contact us.
- Billing information — details needed to process your subscription. Card payments are handled by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Operational data — products, prices, inventory, sales, receipts, customers and similar records you enter while running your business on LeadPOS.
- Support communications — messages, attachments and feedback you send us.
Information collected automatically
- Usage & device data — log data such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed and timestamps.
- Cookies & similar technologies — used to keep you signed in, remember preferences and understand how the Service is used.
2. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, maintain and secure the Service.
- To process subscriptions, payments and trials.
- To sync your data across devices and keep it available offline and online.
- To provide customer support, onboarding and staff training.

- To send service notices, updates and — where permitted — relevant product information.
- To comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations, including reporting requirements applicable in the Maldives.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers — trusted vendors who help us run the Service (for example hosting, payment processing and analytics), bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Legal & safety — when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of LeadPOS, our users or the public.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
- With your direction — when you enable an integration or ask us to share data on your behalf.
4. Data storage & security
We use administrative, technical and organisational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including encryption in transit, access controls and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterwards as required to comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account data subject to those obligations.
6. Your rights & choices
- Access, correct or update the information in your account.
- Request a copy or deletion of your personal data, subject to legal limits.

We use essential cookies to operate the Service and optional cookies to remember preferences and measure usage. You can control or delete cookies in your browser; disabling essential cookies may affect how the Service works.
8. Third-party services
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party products (such as payment providers or maps). Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
9. Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
